Mustang Cat is urgently hiring a skilled Machinist to support our Waller operations. As a Machine Technician I, your primary responsibility is to perform high-quality machining repairs using milling and lathe machines on heavy equipment components.

🔧 What You’ll Do as a Machinist:

• Disassemble, inspect, assemble, and test components
• Set up and create fixtures/jigs as needed for machining tasks
• Use sandblasting equipment to clean parts for inspection
• Grind and inspect valvetrain components
• Polish parts to OEM specifications
• Pack and crate completed products for shipment
• Assist with other shop duties as assigned

📋 Position Requirements:

• Work safely and follow all Mustang Cat safety policies
• Must own proper tools to perform necessary repairs
• Ability to provide accurate data for job quoting
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree or technical certificate preferred
• 1–3 years of automotive or industrial machining experience
• Experience using micrometers, dial indicators, and precision tools
• Proven mechanical, technical, and troubleshooting ability
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Military mechanic experience strongly valued
