Meet Stebo: An Industrial Mechanic Story
Say hi to Stebo, an industrial mechanic at Mustang Cat. Stebo knew early in life and quickly, too, that he excelled at fixing cars and repairing engines. As a young boy, Stebo had a fascination with cars which led him to learn how to fix and operate them every day. When Stebo was in his early twenties, he became a speed racer as a hobby, and instead of hiring a mechanic, he serviced his vehicle himself. In May 1999, Stebo started working for Mustang Cat. Stebo’s work at Mustang Cat gives him a unique opportunity to combine his career with the hobbies that he loves to do outside of work.
Meet Stebo’s Support Team
Mustang Cat Provides a family away from home for Stebo. He loves working for a company that shows they care about their employees. In addition to being an amazing coworker, Stebo has also become a father figure to many of his colleagues. In fact, Stebo’s younger brother, Ed, started his career as a industrial mechanic technician at Mustang Cat to follow in his older brother’s footsteps. In additional to working at Mustang, Stebo and Ed enjoy working on speed racing cars outside of work.
The skills Stebo has acquired are especially useful in his grudge-racing group, Bloodline Racing. The members of Bloodline Racing connect through their love of cars, friends, and family. Stebo feels truly fortunate to show his loved ones how to work on cars the same way he was taught when he was a young boy. Stebo’s support system, his family, comes out to support his passion.

Stebo loves engines and refers to himself as an engine guy. He finds joy in being able to combine what he does for a living with what he does for fun. Stebo’s job as a industrial mechanic challenges his natural ability to work with engines, and he loves that aspect of it. Working at Mustang Cat, he has developed his skills in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and preparing technical issues with diesel and natural gas engines, generators, air compressors and heavy equipment. Stebo does what he loves to do in a field that he loves to work in, and so can YOU.
