Diagnose and repair heavy and light construction equipment Perform preventative maintenance, part installation, and rebuilds Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems using Cat ET Install and repair components such as transmissions, undercarriage, track systems, and fuel systems Deliver field service support using a company-provided truck (for applicable roles) Work independently or with mentorship in a structured shop environment

Must own proper tools to perform repairs High school diploma or GED required Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and fuel systems Working knowledge of transmissions, undercarriage, and track systems Experience using Cat ET or other diagnostic software Prior earthmoving equipment or military mechanic experience Ability to work independently in a shop or field setting
Welding and fabrication: MIG, arc welding, gouging, oxyacetylene torch Experience with hydraulic pumps, valves, and motor systems Dealer or manufacturer training in construction equipment systems Certification or technical school background in diesel mechanics
