Mustang Cat is actively recruiting an experienced Service Supervisor to lead our Engine Rebuild Shop in Houston, Texas. This position requires advanced knowledge of Caterpillar diesel and natural gas engines, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in 3500 & 3600 series engines. As a key service leader in the industrial power systems market, you will own safety, quality, throughput, and customer satisfaction while driving continuous improvement, profitable growth, and employee development.

🔧 What You’ll Do as a Service Supervisor:

• Provide day-to-day leadership for service technicians
• Oversee all engine repairs, overhauls, and warranty repairs
• Monitor shop expenses and technician overtime
• Lead Safety meetings and champion all safety initiatives and processes
• Open, review, edit, and invoice all work orders
• Effectively handle customer disputes and concerns
• Communicate with sales team and customers regarding status of repairs
• Represent Mustang Cat in a professional manner in or away from the office

🛠️ Service Supervisor Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in an industry-related field
• 2 years experience in a service supervisory role
• Basic knowledge of accounting and business financials
• Strong computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet, and other Windows based programs
• Some technical knowledge of diesel and natural gas engine systems
• Background in industrial power systems, oil & gas, or generator service industries
• Familiarity with Caterpillar service platforms (SIS and DBS preferred)
• Strong interpersonal, team-building, and communication skills
• Ability to multitask, make informed decisions, and lead under pressure
• Passion for delivering technical excellence and service leadership
