Mustang Cat, the Caterpillar equipment and engine dealer for Southeast Texas, is announcing plans to construct a new facility at 2895 W. Cardinal Drive, located on the southeast side of highway 69 in Beaumont.

The new facility will support Beaumont and the surrounding areas, replacing existing stores the company operates in Beaumont and Nederland, which will be available for sale. Existing employees will relocate to the new Beaumont location when it opens, planned for late 2016.

“The land we purchased is ideal for Mustang Cat to increase our presence in the Beaumont-Port Arthur area,” said Brad Tucker, president of Mustang Cat. “We are pleased to be investing in Beaumont which will allow us to grow the business. This new location will improve our visibility, provide customers with easier access to service and parts, and consolidate machine sale and rental operations in one location.”

The company’s new Beaumont operations will reside on 12 acres of land, providing ample space to support machine sales and rental, parts warehousing and sales as well as service operations.

Mustang Cat currently has five full-service locations throughout Southeast Texas, including Beaumont, Bryan, Conroe, El Campo and Lufkin. Get more details about the Beaumont Mustang Cat location here.
