Mustang Cat is hiring a skilled Parts Counter Sales Representative to support customers across Southeast Texas. If you have experience in sales, strong customer service skills, and enjoy working around construction parts and equipment, this is your opportunity to grow with a respected Caterpillar dealership.

🛠️ What You’ll Do as a Counter Sales Representative:

As a Counter Sales Representative, you’ll assist customers with ordering and receiving the parts they need to keep their equipment running. You’ll serve as the first point of contact for walk-ins and phone orders, ensuring accuracy, fast service, and satisfaction. Responsibilities include:

    • Answer incoming calls and assist customers in a professional manner
    • Process parts orders and troubleshoot parts issues
    • Check in and organize incoming parts in the parts warehouse
    • Build and assemble hydraulic hoses as needed
    • Assist with loading the shuttle truck
    • Maintain warranty and non-warranty re-man core tracking
    • Reconcile daily payments and credit card transactions
    • Add freight charges to counter and shop tickets
    • Support additional warehouse duties as needed
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

📋 Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • At least 2 years of customer service or sales experience
    • Mechanical aptitude and strong computer skills
    • Professional communication skills: phone, email, written, and in-person
    • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
    • Self-motivated with a positive, customer-focused attitude

✅ Strongly Preferred:

    • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
    • Experience with Caterpillar parts systems
    • Background in heavy equipment, parts warehouse, or industrial supply
