Mustang adds Vocational Trucks to Product Line
Mustang has added the CT660 vocational truck, the first in a line of Caterpillar-branded vocational on-highway truck models, to its product line.
“We are thrilled to be part of Caterpillar’s rollout of the CT660 vocational truck,” said Jim Landriault, business services manager at Mustang Truck Centers. “Incorporating the CT660 into our line gives us an opportunity to expand our current products and services and it also introduces us to new markets.”
The CT660 is a heavy-duty, Class 8 truck delivering all the power, performance and productivity to complete the toughest jobs. Loaded with impressive features and options such as a premium interior and the CX31 automatic transmission, the CT660 can be outfitted as a dump truck, concrete mixer, waste carrier or all-around heavy hauler among all vocational truck configurations.
Keith Rowald, Mustang’s services manager, said the CT660’s interior provides owners with more space and comfort to reduce driver fatigue and increase functionality. “The newly designed interior gives operators more storage room, easy to reach compartments and accessible control handles. The truck was also built with premium grade sound insulation, and is equipped with independent air suspension which creates better traction and a smoother ride.”
Rowald also noted the front hood is sloped giving operators increased visibility. “This is an important feature because it provides drivers a clear look at their surroundings and in turn reduces the amount of damages made to the truck common from poor visibility,” Rowald said.
The truck is powered by Caterpillar-branded CT11 and CT13 engines that provide durable power and speed. With power ratings ranging from 330 to 550 horsepower, the CT660 provides enough power to tackle every day workload challenges.
The CT660 is available at all Mustang Cat locations. For more information about the CT660, go to www.drivecat.com.
