Job Description: This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the Engineering department at the Mustang Power Systems - Tomball facility, including the supervision of all engineering and office employees. Other responsibilities include continuous improvement of product design, quality control, and engineering procedures. Required Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent required. A Bachelors of Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering degree also required, will consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree. This position requires experience in the design, fabrication, and application of rotating equipment. The qualified candidate must be able to read blueprints, be able to communicate ideas between the Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing departments, possess exceptional organizational skills, and have a basic working knowledge of internal combustion engines and engine markets. 3 – 5 years experience in an engine packing operation is desirable. Job Description: Power washing equipment, light outdoor grit blasting, hand tooling of painted and unpainted surfaces, taping and masking, and mixing and applying Offshore Tri-Coat paint systems. Measure and record coating millage thickness, Anchor Profiles, humidity, temperature, and general atmospheric conditions. Operate 50,000lb capacity fork truck. Rig and handle large equipment utilizing cables, slings, and shackles. Record and document paint and solvent usages. Read and follow written shop work orders, paint specifications, and paint application processes. Manage paint supply inventory and proper storage of paint products. Required Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent required along with five (5) years work experience in related field. This position also requires excellent organizational skills.
