At Mustang Tractor & Equipment Company we’ve been providing quality service for southeast Texas since 1952. We know that our customer’s buy Caterpillar equipment for the quality - but also for the experienced total support we provide.

Our team of Product Support professionals have extensive knowledge of our parts and service capabilities and their mission is to consult with our customer in order to match our services with their needs. By using the latest in laptop computes and software, Mustang’s PSSR’s can quickly customize a solution to any equipment repair problem, helping to keep downtime to a minimum.

SERVICE
Mustang is understandably proud of its team of highly trained service technicians in our state of the art, conveniently located, service facilities located throughout southeast Texas. Providing quality repairs and guaranteed workmanship is what we do.

Mustang offers specialized repair solutions for all of your equipment needs, including:

Power Train Component Rebuild: MT&E rebuilds transmissions, final drives, torque converters, and hydraulic power control units for Cat machines in-house.

Engine Rebuild: The Mustang Power Systems Service department has the capability to rebuild and refurbish various engine components for your Cat machine.

Hydraulic Services: Mustang Hydraulic Services is a multifaceted hydraulic service facility specializing in the repair, rebuild, remanufacture, salvaging and testing of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, valves, hammers and winches for the mobile and industrial markets.

Undercarriage Service: Comprehensive service solutions may include reshelling rollers, rebuilding idlers or track shoe installation - all adding to the life of your machine. The undercarriage is one of the most vital and expensive systems on your equipment so, proper maintenance is crucial. Mustang undercarriage rebuild service will help you get the longest life possible.

Mustang provides undercarriage solutions for non-Cat track type machines with Nexus undercarriage, servicing all makes from Case to Kobelco.

Build & Bore: Mustang can rebuild bores with weld material and bore them back to their original dimensions - in excess of 16” in diameter.

Field Service: We operate a fleet of 50 service vehicles, ready to serve you on short notice as well as emergency service 24 hrs. per day, available throughout our 35 county territory.

CUSTOMER SUPPORT AGREEMENTS
A Customer Service Agreement (CSA) helps you manage your business better by controlling equipment operating costs. By creating a plan to fit your needs you can reduce machine downtime, increase productivity and, in the end, increase the resale value of your machine.

Mustang offers a variety of plans, each tailored to your specific needs, including, Preventive Maintenance Agreements which provides flexible scheduling of services, Custom Hydraulic Services, which focuses on the specialized hydraulic systems of your equipment, Air Condition Maintenance Agreements, and the Total Maintenance and Repair Agreement.

PARTS
Caterpillar dealers are proud to represent products that are generally considered to be the best in the world. One of the reasons for that reputation is the parts support Cat dealers like Mustang provide their customers after the sale:

24/7 support. We’re here when you need us (Houston 7-7 weekdays and 7-1 on Saturdays; branch stores 7-5 M-F). BUT, if you need us outside of those hours, we’ll bring someone in to get you out of a jam.

We’ve got your part. 90% of the time, you can expect the part you need to be among the 65,000 lines we stock on our shelves. If it isn’t, we can almost always get it for you overnight. That means you’ll have it by 7 the next morning.

We’re close by. With seven stores and 11 parts drop locations in our 37 county territory, the parts you need are only a short drive from your office or job site.

Parts ordering is easy. If you need help getting the right part, our experienced counter people will see that you get what you need, either in person or over the phone. Our Parts Express system is designed for customers who know their part numbers and prefer to phone, fax or email their orders in. Or you can go to our web site, mustangcat.com, sign up for the PartStore and order online. Whatever works best for you.

You have options. In many cases, the component you may need is available as a remanufactured product, which can save up to 50% of the new price. Or you might consider checking into a new Classic Part or a used part, especially for older machines.
