In 1952 our founders, Otis Massey, Frank Tucker and Earl Calkins, brought together a wealth of expertise in sales, service and finance to form Mustang Tractor and Equipment Company. The strong economy of Southeast Texas provided a great demand for Caterpillar equipment. With over 350 earthmoving product lines, Mustang has claimed a growing share of the total industry.

Fifty years later, the strength and scope of Mustang's operations have increased dramatically. The dynamic growth of this market has been, in many respects, due to the foresight and hard work of people that Mustang has been proud to call customers.

Today, Mustang Cat is the southeast Texas authorized sales, parts and service dealer for Caterpillar construction equipment and engines.
